A lavishly illustrated Victorian era travelogue chronicling the international journeys of Octo-Victorian globetrotters Victoria Prismall and her pet land octopus Otto, this scenic follow-up to Brian Kesinger's instant classic Walking Your Octopus is sure to delight all manner of world adventurers. Thirty panoramic, full-page illustrations showcase Victoria and Otto as they explore destinations in Scotland, France, Holland, Spain, Austria, Romania, Italy, Russia, China, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, Mexico, and beyond. From snowy Himalayan peaks to lush Amazon rain forests… from the tombs of the Pharaohs to the depths of the oceans... from the beaches of the Caribbean, to the plains of the American west… see it all from the comfort of your favorite reading spot. The book's art is both beautiful and captivating, with each illustration telling its own visual story about the whimsical characters and their fun-filled situations. As with Walking Your Octopus, this book is collectible art-object for those who still value the classic elegance of ink-on-paper. The hardcover binding is plussed with two-layer embossing and spot varnish, and the interior is printed on extra heavy paper. An exquisite volume for lovers of books, art and pets.

i had so much fun, researching traditional attire from each country otto and victoria visit as well as thinking up humorous situations for them to get into.

Pretty good artwork, and thought the stuff you made about character creation was pretty good as well. I actually enjoy making characters of my own in my spare time and have several written down, though I can't draw worth a damn which is a bit of a problem but what can you do

Huh. Small world. Hello Mr. Kesinger, I just read your "Character Driven" interview and I must say that over the years of my youth having watched many Disney movies, and i do still watch them, I believe i came to understand such methods of Story creation and Character Development before i even understood what I was even doing as an upstart artist. I do still enjoy Disney's works as well as yours, though my movie watching days have all but passed. I'm certainly looking forward to Big Hero 6 and other newer titles being released in the future.
Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Kesinger. Have yourself a grand day.

Hello Mr. Kesinger,
I first want you to know that I absolutely love your work. I have just recently joined Deviantart after having been persuaded by one of my friends and I came upon your page. Ever since I was younger I have always been amazed by such great works of animation and how techniques of CGI animation has come so far. I have enrolled in college in order to achieve my degree in Graphic and Multimedia design and am working towards toward someday working in Disney Animation. I have looked into tips and books on character designs but know that despite my dedication to my dream, it is hard to actually reach the point of Disney in terms of work. I would be extremely grateful if I could borrow a bit of your time in getting some helpful tips in building a portfolio or gaining connections in the industry. Thank you so much and I love your work.
